1.0 Introduction
Of the several generators operating on a power system not all of them have governors that respond to adjust the generators power outputs when frequency changes. And those generators that respond will do so in different amounts depending on their respective governor Droop settings. If, for the purpose of calculating frequency deviation curves, the system is modelled as an equivalent single machine, what should the Droop of the equivalent governor on this machine be? This page develops equations to answer this question.
